Big Will Posted April 8, 2010 Report Share Posted April 8, 2010 Not a waste of money at all. It's easy to sell the OBX dps on here. People like them and most people have FWD. The 16T will bolt right up to your 850 AWD. Your car has a straight flanged exhaust housing so if the 16T you bought does too then it's perfect. If not, just leave your exhaust housing on your car and take the 16T's off and swap it in. You won't notice much gain using the stock ECU, but I believe the 850 AWD used Motronic 4.4 so you should be able to buy a 98 S/V/C70 T5 manual ECU and swap it in as well and you'll have a nice power gain. Just double check that yours uses M4.4 and not 4.3 but I'm nearly sure it does. People sell stock T5M ecus on here for about 150 USD normally.
