SALESMANJOE Posted April 9, 2010 Report Share Posted April 9, 2010 I HAVE a 97 Volvo 850r wagon that needs engine can i use a long block out of a s70 fwd turbo? i have been told the head is different on these but block is the same. Is there any electrical connections that are different? My vin is 58 but i have a 16t w/ s60r manifold so turbo size does not matter. SALESMANJOE Posted April 9, 2010 Author Report Share Posted April 9, 2010 sorry it is a 1998 s70 so has distrubitor not coil packs like 99 and up. the junkyard dude was saying that it would only work in a 1998 s70 v70. the engine number is B523T3 if that helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
