Can someone here link me with a wiring harness for a 99 C70 it currently has the sc-901 all the harness i find say they arent compatible with factory amplified systems.. is it that it wont work or im just going to loose half the speakers ? A Metra 70-9220 harness adapter will give you your power connections without splicing. Will need to make or buy an RCA to DIN adapter to use the existing factory amplifier. Ebay it or follow the many write ups online to make one. I recall Crazykyn having one on this particular forum. Making one is pretty simple, just need to be able to solder is all, good luck. A slight modification is needed to make it four channel, but its pretty easy to figure out how. pantyear Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 not to hi-jack the thread, what do you do when you have the dolby surround system but some a$$ munch put a 816 HU in it? i have 3 wires that i'm guessing that go to all the dash speakers and i have no idea what to splice them into so they work. i purchased an aftermarkt HU is wired up and working with the factory amp, but the dash speakers are still inop. any guidance would be greatly appreciated, i would love to have all dash speakers bumping! pantyear Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 ok so i did some research and found that if you go with an aftermarket HU you will lose the suround speakers, but they speak of a dedicated dolby surround amp that will let you use them. what is this and where can i get one?
