It's just what happens after you do the swap without a tune. The car thinks it's in neutral and won't rev past 4k. Go rev your car in park or neutral and you'll see what he mans. The current IPD tune will give you full rpm back, but other issues have come around that the first version of the tune didn't address and is currently being revised. But we won't know if any of it helps until it's back in the cars. In any case it's been a long road and who knows how much longer it'll take to get a perfect running tune for ME7.

so pretty much if i spent 2000ish on parts, swapped everything in, drove my car across the bridge to ipd and tuned had them tune my ecu i'd be all good... or are there still some pretty big kinks in it that are still bein worked out? and like i asked before, is anyone goin to the garage sale next month?! i'll be there till like 11... then i have a wedding to go to in moses lake, WA. talk about crappy scheduling :blink:

almost everyone in the nwc is going to the garage sale

i believe they are still working on the tune for the manual me7 setup, so i doubt you could get them to do it yet.

The you can buy the tune from IPD. But the tune itself is outsourced to Marco at TME in sweden. So you'll have to get in line with everyone else waiting for a good revised tune. We're on month 2 now since they received datalogs and dyno information for a remap and still no word back from them.

haha. awesome. well hopefully it'll be all good by the time i get enough pennies saved up to buy all the parts. if not... then i guess i'll just have really good gas mileage for a while with a 4k rev limit .
