Oreo931 Posted April 21, 2010 Report Share Posted April 21, 2010 You'll get a check engine light, and the rev's might drop more quickly in between shifts, but other than that it's fine. If you don't mind a constant check engine light then go for it. I wish I would have been more patient for the proper tune cause the cel is starting to piss me off... the whole part about the revs well I can barely notice a difference. lookforjoe Posted April 22, 2010 Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 May also run lumpy/rich @ idle & stumble after decel. Maybe ME4.3 doesn't make such a difference, but it was pretty bad on my '98. Exaudi855T5 Posted April 24, 2010 Report Share Posted April 24, 2010 I have a RICA stage II tune in my 1995 850T M (OBD1 from Canada) and no issues except the CEL's. You will have to deal with it. And yes the rev's drop more quickly in between shifts, and I personally find this awesome. I was bored about the increasing RPM's between each shifts.
