DARKSIDE Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 I got a Pioneer Avic-Z2 a few days a ago...all the wire harnesses were included, I even have the harness(from eBay) that plugs right into the two connectors that go into the back to the factory HU... From what I've read, I think the only other thing I'll need is this amp adapter (one similar to the QBM Amp Adapter) Where can I purchase one from? (since QBM is gone) Anyone have a pic of the QBM adapter...it'll make it easier for comparison to a similar adapter from another source... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DARKSIDE Posted May 6, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 Ok...I did a search on eBay...and I found these two: (pics have been added below for future reference) overall wire gauge and quality looks better however, this wire comes w/ 12v, grd, & shield wires which one would u recommend? crazykn Posted May 7, 2010 Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 The top would also suffice. Technically there is no ground pin on the 6 Pin DIN connector. The ground is grounded to the shell of the connector. Of all the adapters i've built for people (in the past) no one has ever had to use the ground connector that is featured in the second picture. BEJinFBK Posted May 7, 2010 Report Share Posted May 7, 2010 No Problemo - The top one DOES have a 12 volt, remote on output. ( I woulda used blue instead of red...that's the standard EIA/TIA remote on designated color) As posted above, it should be all you need. Either one oughta work just fine.
