--Aaron--
I'm 99% sure I'm going to be snatching an SC 900 and C70 4 x 100 amp with no harness. There is a tutorial that I could find for you with detailed instructions on how to wire this into your system. I believe Gary, Yellow95 has done it....or possibly HeavyIRON? I'll dig up the info. if need be. I have a V70R amp/harness in my car currently and have no desire to change that so........would anyone be interested in this C70 amplifier? If so what do you feel is a fair price, keep in mind shipping will be a factor as it will be a decent sized box, fairly heavy and well packaged. Also, anyone know for sure what the differences between the 901 and 900 are? Google is not playing nice with me. This will also make my fully functional SC 816 available. It has all new light bulbs and very light wear on a few buttons. I'd say 8/10 condition.
--Aaron--
Nevermind about the differences, it's amazing what you find when you try hard enough. http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php/topic/103047-sc-900-v-sc-901/Pretty neat information here about the SC 900... http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/1998/1998_SV70/98sv70_188.htm
SlapShot
Totally worth the upgrade Aaron. I found a SC901 on the cheap last summer and its been rocking strong until last week when the 3CD changer started giving me problems with off/on reading of discs. Debating whether to send it to Alpine for 150 or finding another working one sub 80 bucks...or if there was a way to split the DIN input on the back and toggle between them I might just find a trunk changer. 3CD aside, it sounds way better than an SC816 with a blitzsafe ipod adapter. Burn-E
There's interest over on Swedespeed for the amp (look in the 98-00 S/V 70 and C70 threads. Check out Jim Rothe's thread for a decent price at which he listed his components.
--Aaron--
There's a guy local to me that has an SC 900 and C70 amp for sale for 150! It was super cheap and I wanted the 900 so was contemplating buying both. Anyways, I ended up dumping $300 in parts troubleshooting a god awful squeal and have decided not to go with the purchase. If you search Lancaster, PA craigslist you'll see the ad if anyone wants the stuff.
