Not many cars around my area mess with me, but I had one on the way back from Ikea.

I first spotted him, and just saw the rear of the car, red EF, exhaust, billet rear arms, roll cage. Caught my interest, so played around with him a bit, then finally lined up. He instantly put about 3 cars on me from a 40, and just amazed me.

Later on that night, I'm talking to my buddies at the local hangout, and mention the car. One of my friends knew him, turns out the car was gutted, 1600lbs wet, b18c1 swap, full suspension, and was running mid 12's BEFORE he installed his Jackson Racing supercharger.

Sadly, I didn't hear the whine of it, only the spooling of my turbo, and after meeting the owner of the CRX, it's all he talked about. (How loud my turbo is) His car was amazingly clean, and what a sleeper! Popped the hood to reveal this:

Can't tell from that pic, but it's a PVC intake, mated to the supercharger. The car is insane.

hondas are deadly but just look at it...its still a pos, if i put the time and money i have in my 855 into an ef i could be running 11s, but its just so played out :lol:

haha, the kid has about 25K into the car.

Sad thing is, chances of our Volvo's getting into the 11's are slim.

wow 25k? did he pay a shop to get raped with a bill like that? thats just stupid, the car its self is worth next to nothing, a b18c1 with full internals, head work and a jackson sc would run you no where near that number.... i know people with hatchs running 11s with 6k into their motor and trannys, its not hard or expensive.

Well, it's built for auto-x, not just going straight. I didn't understand the 25K either, but his suspension is all custom billet pieces, not off the shelf stuff.

ahh missed the suspenion part, i guess if he is doing it right he could get up there but 25k is a bit of an exaggeration i think, i would be pissed if i put 25k into that car :lol:

This is true.

I'm pissed about how much there is in my car, and yet still needs more. :angry:

Eh...nothing super impressive about that, but a really nice sleeper!

The 244 is about to hit 12's, and I don't have much done to it. It's also 1,000 lbs heavier than that CRX (curb was 2600 lbs even on the track scale). I have about $2200 into it (car, engine, and mods).

Lose another 1,000 lbs, and it's right there with the CRX. just gotta get yourself into a lighter car!

I had a crx for 5yrs. with a b61a and JAckson racing supercharger. MY car looked a hell of a lot better than that, ran 11.2's steady in the QM. Weighted 1900lbs. Chased down M3's and 911's all day long. Man that was a fun car. I realize my R will never be that fast but I find solace in knowing that if I crash I won't end up in a million pieces.

May get more power out of a 5spd but good luck with the launch :tup:

I'll stick with my auto until it pops :)

2 clues. You saw the roll cage and it isn't riced out which typically means the interior is stripped and there is something more serious going on.
