flyfishing3
the spring does very little. all the heavy lifting is done by the nivo
lookforjoe
Unbolt top nut from inside cargo area (after removing all the panelling). Unbolt lower nivo mount. If memeory serves me right, you'll need to bolt the sway bar, ebrake cable retainer, outer lower control arm @ the spindle & @ the body (under the cylindrical jacking point) and pivot the whole arm in & down to free the Nivo. Basically same as spring replacement

Second is wrong, you can remove them without even taking the wheels of the car. 3 bolts on each side and they come out from the bottom so jack up the car high enough to get them out. Couldn't remember whether the extra work was needed, I've only ever removed them for the spring upgrades (2x)
Turbosleeper
the car is up high and has no wheels on it. I got the two bottom bolts out at base of nivo but the top bolt just spins. I dont know why its being so difficult.

I dont know why its being so difficult. You have to counter hold the shaft. usually they have a 'squared' top for this purpose, if you're using hand tools. With a air gun, they just zip off. Usually you do the top first, so that there is some drag through the body of the Nivo to prevent the whole thing spinning.

Dan A
I cant' remember exactly, but it seems like I was able to reach around through the wheel well (with the tire removed) and hold the top half while unbolting the top bolt. Then again, maybe I just zapped it with the air wrench. But yeah, you just have to get the car high enough off the ground to pull it out through the bottom. With the car raised on jack stands or using a second jack, you can also jack under the control arm to compress the spring and get more room between the floor and the arm to pull the jack through.
