Matty Moo
Found a destroyed 1996 850 sedan, and it appears to be Moondust. The hood is fine, and I've been looking for a moondust hood. It's at an auction, so calling them to ask if it's moondust would be pointless. They have pics online, but they suck. did they make moondust in 96? ErikS
Moondust metallic is volvo paint code 444, but the database says the earliest model it was on was a S70. Ask them if there is 444 on the third line of the engine bay tag where the paint code is listed.
Mesoam
There were a few shades on the 850's that looked similar to moondust. I remember actually checking one out a while ago, n/a. For the life of me I still can't figure out why I would have ever considered owning a car that color
