it looks like crap.

Duh. It's cardboard with tape and some markings on it.

btw what kinda speaks did you use.. sony xplods?

No. For now, I left the stock ones in, since I haven't figured out which ones to get as replacements. It sounds good even without the audio processor installed, so I'm not complaining.

dry.gif I'll take pictures tmrw when I'm on Long Island. There's a really good place for picture taking not far from my friend's house, so it should be good. I think it looks fine.

are you really that dumb?

do you honestly think it makes any difference where the car is when your taking pics of the inside of the trunk? and making cardboard boxes to model placement of capacitors that your just gonna randomly put in the middle of the trunk...? that makes about as much sense and making a cardboard model of my laptop to make sure it fits on my desk. Either you have only 2 brain cells, your brain cells are all busy fighting with eachother, or both.

Rockford Fossgate P2D412 (12-Inch) I don't see it as a waste of space. I haven't ever needed to use the trunk in my Mazda, and I even had the back seats folded down in there. The system fits fine in the S70's trunk with room to spare. And at some point in the future, I'll do a full fake floor for the system, but for now, mounted to the trunk floor is fine. (I'll never use the space anyways.)

You do realize with all the time you wasted playing with your cardboard and painters tape you could've had the stuff installed and working days ago???

Geez, and the outcome is so plain on top of that. Hmmm, everything mounted next to each other on the trunk floor. First I must make cardboard box babies to see how it will look. LOLWUT

I think extremely hard is a bit too far to describe the response, Rockford does make nice subwoofers and all but one Rockford 12"?

Another thing, where are you getting 1000 watts from?

Hint, when building a car stereo you should figure out which speakers you are going with first and then find a suitable amp that will give you what you need.

You are one of those brainiacs that confuse the stuff outta themselves constantly aren't you?

In theory your inside speakers are going to total 750 watts RMS?

laugh.giflaugh.giflaugh.gif Oh man, if you think that thing hits hard, you haven't heard a real sub.

No crap. I didn't have room for my 18" Concert Hall sub.

no idea how you got that RMS number, but w/e. My Rockford is 250 RMS, which is lame, but it hits hard for now. It's a lot harder than it was in the SUV, since there's less space to fill. My 18" sub is 800 RMS alone; hence why I have no way of powering it outside of my 1500 RMS rack-mounted power amp. I'd bet TyConn_S70 would vouch for the loudness of the 18" - I had this setup running off of a DC/AC inversion system in my SUV; and my inverter was undersized, so it limited the amps output a lot.

Also, I'm not a fan of having such a loud audio system that you can be heard 3 towns away. To me, that is something 16 year-old fags to when they get their grandma's 1992 Buick LaSabre to try and "get the girls". I could care less about how loud my setup is, as long as it sounds decent. Which even with the stock speakers, I've managed to do.
