f1fanoly Posted May 18, 2010 Report Share Posted May 18, 2010 Hope someone out there has tried this before and can give me some advice.Motor in my '97 850GLT is t/u,bent valves.Had difficulty locating same motor,What im leaning toward is a complete (injectors,turbo)B5234T3 from a '98 70.I understand its a direct swap,except not clear as to what needs to happen with the ecu.Located a cheap '97 R ecu but was informed wouldnt work,different motronic version than GLT,and '98 ecu will fry my a/c.Anyone out there put a 2.3 in a GLT?Did it work?What do I need to do to make it work?
