what r these 4?

My bad, I forgot to say that lol.

They are threaded sleeves and adjustment nuts to make coilovers with.

They are made by AFCO.

Good stuff if you don't want a set ride height, but drop $1-2k on Kw's.

Just need to get new endlinks, but I might ride around with stockers for a bit.

You will be using yellows with these?

For right now, OEM struts.

I just want to see how they will work.

I've read through tons of threads and done quite a bit of research, but no one has ever tried it..

If they don't work as I'd like them to, I'm going to put the stock suspension back in, and buy Koni's or Bilsteins.

I got the sleeves and the adjustment nuts.

There isn't really a "kit" per say.

I have 7 7/8'' springs that are #300.

This is straight DIY, not really a bolt on thing.

I don't really post threads, maybe once or twice every few months.

But yea, these are the DIY coilovers, but they will be OEM coilovers hopefully :D

We'll have to see how the stock struts will hold up against this much drop.

Which actually may only be slightly lower than the IPD 1.75's.

I'm hoping to have a 2.5'' drop from the factory springs in now.

now i understand :) maybe even monroe struts? I hear good things about them and they are cheap. not sure about how they handle the lowness.

So im guessing you are driving the 240 wagon too? sorry if I lost track....got alot going on.

hmm, perhaps a giant waste of time outside the learning process. The stroke of the stock strut will ride like crap lowered. It rides like crap on a 1" drop this will ride so much crappier. But hey, what the heck go for it, better to toss mistakes at these than a brand new set of Koni's.

1. These will not be OEM coilovers. The stock struts will blow out with that much of a drop. It's a waste of your time.

2. How will you throw the stock suspension back in if you are cutting it up?

the stock suspension rides like shit with a drop? not so much on Sachs super touring and Weitecs...since it was discovered that Weitec was simply using the super touring non revalved dampeners with their Cup Kit...

find out what spring rate Weitec uses and get the same for your OEM coilover kit
