rbodor3
So this is the 3rd time this has happened to me: I broke the blue plastic clips for the window regulators! The 2nd time I thought maybe the regulator arm was screwy or bent or something, so I replaced it with a new one while doing the clips. Problem came back. These things break so damn easy - anybody have a solution? Or am I the only person tearing thru these like it's nobody's business.
Ihatespeedbumps
Do you lube the slides with LOTS of wheel bearing grease?
rbodor3
yes, with an ungodly amount. It made trying to fix it last night in the dark a dirty, nearly impossible proposition.
Guest M Lanctot
No suggestions. I've replaced them but once done that was it.
Volvo5.0
Make sure the "ball" on the regulator fully snaps into the blue sliding blocks. Also spray some silicone on the window guides so the window slides freely.
