24Tesla
well that there is your problem .... blah blah blah blah buy volvo plugs blah blah blah blah dont argue about it blah blah blah blah I got the Bosch Plugs, which is all the Volvo plugs are. What I removed were Autolight Plats, that were flippin gapped at like .050. #5 was burnt pretty bad. Replaced them all, as well as the TCV/BCV and still misfiring on #5. Will replace the coils in the AM. May be a busted wire though, as when I took the plastic cover off the top, the wireloom for #5 was pinched pretty hard, and might have busted a wire. Will be looking at that more tomorrow. Will keep you posted. **Side note, ALWAYS check the gap on plugs when you buy. The ones I bought were supposed to be pre-gapped at .030" which is what the Turbo calls for in the Owners Manual. Well they ranged from .035" to .048". I set them all back down to .030"
24Tesla
Ok, here is the deal, the TCV got rid of the Overboost error P0234, but even with it replaced, and new plugs I still had rough idle at lower RPM but smoother under load. Was still getting P0305 (Misfire in Cyl #5). Replaced coils today, and boom, smooth as a babies butt. And with the new IPD TCV in place, it runs SO much smoother and has a much stonger throttle response. Thx for all the input. Next I will tackle the Alarm Siren Mdule from another post, but now the car is fixed, back to the Hospital. My Father had a bad motorcycle accident on his Harley this AM and is in Shock Trauma ICU. So the Alarm module can wait. After he was stable this AM, I had to get the wifes car back on the road. Later.
