Thread About Nothin

Recommended Posts

Just outside of twin falls Idaho. Plan to be home late tonight. I'm so looking forward to a long shower, fresh food and my bed. Not quite sure if rv living is for me. Although we make much better time having a bathroom on board. Stupid small baldders

Making a lot better time on the way home I see. :)

The boys finally let me drive the rv yesterday. Big trucker here :). We were able to drive until midnight since they got some rest. And were back on the road at 6am. Someone really wants to make the Bscc event to even out the wins.

I am glad you said it before me. :) I knew exactly why you were going to be doing the trip in two days. At least you aren't running in the morning so you can sleep longer.

I was hoping to get my highest place finish yet in class, but not now. Apparently you are scaring away the Subies. There are 5 Subarus pre registered and 5 Evos. Me and the Merc C55 are the rest of the field.

So I replace the thermostat, didn't fix the temperature gauge from spazzing wildly, so we used a laser pointer temp sensor thing, and realized the coolant temp was very normal.

We assume that means the car is alright to drive, so we take a 5 minute test drive.

Upon getting back, there was absolutely no more coolant in the system. NONE. Upon opening the OIL cap, super milky combustion gases billowed out for about 10 minutes.

To me it could def be a headgasket still, or a crack in the combustion chamber. There are no external leaks, and no smoke out the exhaust.

ok I need some assistance. The vac line that's plugged into the cruise control unit is unplugged from the other end. My question is, where is the T-valve that's pictured below, is it inside the car or in the engine bay??

Its right behind the brake pedal. If you lay on the floor you can look up under the dash and see it. Alternatively use mirrors to look up and see it.

The 240 is fixed, got the new headgasket in, in less than 2 hours, Thank you Redblock simplicity.

There was 3 minor chips in the gasket, and 1 major chip that connected a water line to the outside of the headgasket.
