mojojo
Getting ready to replace the vacuum lines on my T5-R, and wondering where I can find a schematic to make sure everything is in the proper location. As well, is there any one who can tell me how much vacuum line the system will need, and what sizes? Thanks!

Thanks! here is a vacuum diagram http://personal.linkline.com/dbarton/vac-s70t5-1998.jpg don't know how much and how long the only ones i replaced were the three on the tcv and the cbv line and the one going to the side of intake manifold. --Aaron--
Easiest way to go about doing this is just to be aware of where all the vacuum lines you would like to change are, pull one, replace and repeat process until you are satisfied. Not being a smart ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.....this is just the easiest way. If you get Stylin's 60 dollar IIRC kit, you will have plenty to take care of anything you'd like plus have some left over to do fun sprucing up things with. Big thumbs up for Stylin', excellent company.

It's obvious that someone at some point did replace some of the lines in the system, I just want to make sure everything is back where it *should* be.
Exaudi855T5
Why don't you just remove one and replace it right after so you won't search like a monkey where the line was before ?

If you are actually replacing them then what Aaron said is spot on including using Stylin. If you need to verify that what you have is installed correctly, then there is supposed to be a vac line diagram for your car under your hood or use the link posted earlier as a guide but some cars are a little different than others. Are you having "issues" that are causing you to investigate the proper connections?.
PLM
Anyone had any problems with these lines under heavy boost? Reason I ask is that after replacing all my vaccum lines I'm having some issues similar to hestiation and boost cut off. It's almost like the ecu is retarding the boost thinking its a boost spike. This is happening in first gear around 3800-4000 rpms and boost around 19 lbs. The engine will hestiate, boost, then cut back. Is it possible that too much excess hose would create this or even using a larger hose than what was originally installed? I'm trying to get ideas on what the issue might be. You more than likely may have a leak or a line may be pinched. I'd make sure all connections are secure and then make sure nothing is kinked or being pinched.
