Durry Posted May 25, 2010 Report Share Posted May 25, 2010 So guys, now I have all the things i order....Radio dash kit, Antenna Adapter , radio wiring harness and obviously the radio(and volvo no radio software). What else do i need in order to install the radio... do i need a new AMP ? i do the no radio software after or before the new radio installation... sorry to ask but searched in the forum and they are no threads about this.... i guess they were deleted. Infinity is good, as is JL. I have no personal experience with JBL, so I can't say from me. But, I do remember my brother, who worked at Tweeter (when they still existed) as the 12v audio specialist, always gave JBL the nickname or "Junkey But Loud" I've had good luck with RockFord Fossgate, but I don't know if they make door speakers anymore. bdimag Posted May 28, 2010 Report Share Posted May 28, 2010 alpine is good cheap; infinity is cheap good... so ya, they can be decent... i had infinity kappa 2-ways front/rear and hated them but it was an admittedly bad setup. get a good amp to match the speakers and you'll get decent sound either way...
