StylinMotors
We have been asked sporadically in the past if we could make a larger throtle body hose. We would like to gauge interest in this. Please reply and tell your friends to reply if you would be interested in this. This is a complicated hose and will be in the $100-135 (NEW ESTIMATE $75-$85 SEE POST ON PAGE 2 FOR MORE DETAILS) {THIS WOULD BE FOR THE STOCK PIPING NOT THE RIP PIPING, THAT IS STILL BE LOOKED AT} dollar range if we were to manufacture. 1. insert screen name here 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. etc Edited to put poll back in. Simply answer yes if you would be interested in this hose with and or without IAC hose.

StylinMotors
which hose are we talking about here? On the 850 turbos some people have been adding a larger Throtle Body, from the 740 I believe. But buy doing so the stock or silicone ones we make don't fit any more. So if we get enough interest we will look at making them to fit.
bum2kev
they are NA throttle body. i would change your title to NA TB hose group buy and people will flood in.
StylinMotors
Are you saying people are using NA TB hoses on the turbo models? The requests we have gotten were for people using 740 or 940 TB's on the 850 turbos. But either way, we would just need the exact measurement of the TB which everone it is and we would make the Turbo hose for the 850 fit that throtle body. TRACStar
He was just saying that the TB upgrade that people use is the 850 NA piece which is the same as the 960. But its more well known as a NA TB upgrade, the title now could be confusing, changing it may get you more traffic. I believe it is 3" OD but I'm sure someone else can confirm for sure. There should definitely be interest, I think IPD was going to do it but it fell through.

The larger TB people are using is found on the NA 850/SVC70's, as well as one of the 900 series engines. The delimna is then how to connect it to the small turbo throttle body hose, as I'm sure you're aware. Bet someone here can contribute the dimensions; I don't have them handy. IIRC, the OP cannot change the title of the thread once created. I'm going to change it to "Larger Throttle Body for NA TB". If you'd like it different than that, drop me a PM and I'll put whatever you want.

bergmjs
well crappy. i have a turbo so i'm stuck with the original narrow tb hose? Unless you buy a 960 throttle body and an NA manifold.
bengallegos
would that be just a direct bolt up? and does the manifold have more flow than the turbo manifold? pretty much what i want to know is if swapping the tb and manifold would be worth it. i would definitely love the bigger tb hose, but would the other stuff work with my car very well? Installing the NA tb is a great cheap mod. I noticed a stiffer feeling pedal and a snappier throttle response. I used the turbo manifold and ported it out to match the size of the NA throttle body. I have all custom IC piping, but i used a 3" silicone tube for the NA throttle body.
