Brad850
Hey guys is the odometer in a say a 93-94 volvo 850 na any different then the one in my 850 r? My car stopped giving me mileage and I figured it was that little yellowish gear that needs to be replaced. Can i find what i need inside an odometer from a 93 850? - THaaanks
erikv11
I've never worked with an 850 but the replacement shops all say "fits all 850s 93-97" etc. It should fit. I wouldn't put a 17 year old odometer gear in a car I was planning to keep very long. Unless maybe you have the dash off all the time, etc.edit: I've never worked with a 1993
mojojo
I believe this part can be acquired on line, new. Not sure where, so wait for someone else to chime in.
bergmjs
Don't put the old one in, you'll be taking the dash apart again within a year. Just get it new from FCP for $25 and if you feel like doing it right buy the second gear that's in there for another $25. And put a dab of vaseline on them when you install them.
