well I haven't done one of these yet. Washed it up a little tonight since I am all done with the FMIC, and of course as I am leaving the car wash it rains.

Camera is broke, so all I have is crappy blackberry pictures.

will probably put the bumper back on tomorrow morning or something.

also, I like the murdered out, but I have really been debating on painting the rims a dark bronze..Opinions are appreciated on it, thanks!

wow, I just realized how terrible these are. I will borrow my sisters camera cause I am going out now, and will take some REAL pictures of it..I didn't think they would turn out THAT bad

thats a semi gloss man, I can see reflections. My car looks nothing like that in the rain, its actually flat. You might want to shorten that drivers side intercooler pipe as well. Have you been driving it bumperless? Your fmic looks beat to sh!t

fawk, time to spraypaint the car a different colour again

probably should have mentioned I paid $500 for the car in good running condition with bad paint. rims were beat to hell, so they got sanded and painted first, then the horrible stock paint bugged me so much I just painted it. I am not going all out on looks for the car, going to build the engine up, as it is just a drag car/auto-x car anyways, I didn't buy it cause I thought it was cool by any means. It was cheap and could be a decent project.

ans as for the intercooler being beat up, are you kidding me? Have you ever touched a FMIC? those little aluminum fins bend with just a little pressure. Just got bent in when I was mounting it. I could take a flat head and bend them all back out with no effort at all..but like I said, I am going for functionality, not looks.

under hood shot.

and the bumper fits fine over the piping..seems like on alot of the 850's with FMIC they stick out quite a bit on that side.

if you're going for functionality, you might want to straighten out the fins. believe it or not, but the fins being bent does reduce the efficiency a little bit.

It has to be routed that way unless you move the evap tank that the pipe is wrapping around.
