Mesoam Posted June 23, 2010 Report Share Posted June 23, 2010 yeah a motor that barely touched makes more torque than HP is a joke sleeper status in this day and age is a joke too nicer interior than many production cars (well pending it was well cared for) yeah you're right joke cars ........i love laundry day i suggest you douse the car in gasoline....light it on fire... blame it on the heated seats..... I would get allootttt more than I have into it back since I have full coverage on it. I am not saying it isn't a decent car, there are just better ones out there, that would suit my needs better..An opportunity came up to buy it on the cheap, so I did, and it didn't look pretty..But I knew it had potential to be a good autocross car..And it did fairly good this weekend. I am not going for looks at all, I like the beat up look anyways..Shows I drive the thing, not just make it look pretty to cruise around town in. It gets autocrossed every other weekend atleast. I will drive it till it dies (So far, it is a strong car, so that may not happen anytime soon) And when it does, well..I have always been a big fan of the 06 STI..At this time I just don't see the point of making those kind of payments, when I can pay $0 a month on this volvo, and it gets the job done. Could have pulled it off alright with a little adjustment of the core and cold side... Then you wouldn't have had to cut half the bumper... ...but paint doesn't look horrible.
