greasy
Forza Italia! Of course I'm going to be supporting the US, but Italy is where my heart is (grew up there). With all the injuries this year, who knows what can happen.

Hells yeah, my beautiful España :). Both Xavi and El Niño have a lot on their plate, arghhh!! Pops Racer
My latest rankings show Brasil #1, Esapana #2, and Portugal #3. Nederlander #4, my pick. Tho I have a love for 3 Lions, Rooney is my guy at Man. U.Lots of injuries, these pre tourny warmups against hack teams are stupid. Rio Ferdinand out. Nani out Didier Drogba out. And U.S. is all banged up. No Davies, and ALtidor is nursing an ankle sprain. Not good. If we dont score, we are dead.Oh yeah, Whitey, if I recall properly, U.S. took out Spain and had Brazil on the ropes. Anything can happen in this competition, I predict some rotten refereeing will get somebody riled up! If they dont riot for tickets again.Italia = fat and old. ErikS
spain > all. they are ranked #1 and they are taking it. only competition all cup is brazil and holland. I seem to recall a year ago, the US beat Spain 2-0. It's the World Cup, anything can happen.
quiksilver
Go Slovenia! I have to cheer for my home country. I'm Also half Croatian but Croatia didn't qualify; so Slovenia it is.

It's the World Cup, anything can happen. figured someone would bring that up. don't think the us will get a chance to play spain this year though. different groups, and they would only play in the elimination round, which the us will never get to play spain haha. Didier Drogba will play but michael essien or michael ballack won't. i mean spain is playing like a pro team, cesc fabregas is not injured, neither is torres, and villa is super strong. jesus navas is coming off the bench and scoring. even busquets is playing like a pro. Pops Racer
Torres just came back from knee surgery. I cant wait for the day when a US team beats a contender and sends the world screaming into the night. Until the type of athletes that end up playing NFL, NBA, NHL, etc. get in to soccer programs, we will lag. LeBron James as a striker? Please, the world would faint.Bosingwa out also, and Vidic has a virus. Chelsky players got hammered. Drogba may play, but if it means potential probs for future playing with CHelsky, he'll opt to protect his paycheck. I wish Argentina was better, Messi is a joy to watch, like to see them go deep. RBoy8
Don't really have a particular team to cheer for... I just don't like Portugal or Italy. I'm kinda interested to see how North Korea does though. Omg imagine if the final was between USA and North Korea... .
