InitialDriveGTR
More information on your car is needed. If it has the amp from the factory, im not sure if it can be used. someone else would answer that. If it doesnt have the amp from the factory, then its just simply get a wire harness from bestbuy and match the colors and go

stevensane247
So the deck is installed, but the weird thing is that everynow and then when I remove key it still stays powered on like key is in accessory mode, the heater controls are still active but once I adjust fan on heater it shuts everything down.. Guessing stuck solenoid?
BEJinFBK
Which HU? You mention a Kenwood AND an SC-901... If you replaced an SC-901 with a Kenwood, did you use a harness adapter? And if ya did, are you sure it's all connected correctly? Any Pics? Sounds like a power wire may be connected to the wrong thing. Seeing what is spliced to what would help. stevensane247
Went from a sc900 to a kenwood dd ddx7015, used the wiring harness with amp bypass. Not too much of a big deal it's just weird
BEJinFBK
Went from a sc900 to a kenwood dd ddx7015, used the wiring harness with amp bypass. Not too much of a big deal it's just weird Sometimes the constant and switched power on those harness kits is backwards. You might check that. You could be back feeding into the electrical system from the deck. Try unplugging the Kenwood and see what happens to the heater controls then.
