akskibum82
So I ordered konis for all four corners today and am curious if they will lift my car at all. I have a 94 854T with 165K and eurosport springs (awesome). Im pretty sure that the stock shocks/struts are shot so im just worndering if the new konis will raise the car (ive heard of this problem with bilsteins). Thanks -R
Chopper
I don't think you should have any trouble with the Konis raising the car. The back in the 850 sits a bit higher than the front anyway. With the springs you should be at the same level. I have Konis in the front with IPD springs and I get the claimed 1" drop.If your struts/shocks are shot you might see some fluid leaking out of them. AutoX47
the rear could be low with blown shocks
FINN
the rear could be low with blown shocksCouldnt the cause also be worn out springs? My back sags lower than my front but the car still handles fine.
steve s
supposedly...koni are built with low pressure nitrogen and bilsteins are with high pressure nitrogen...the bilstein design is supposedly known to raise, not with the koni...
akskibum82
thanks guys, the spiongs are less than a year old (eurosport) so that cant be a factor.
