FAST850R
Hi, As the title said, can I do this? or should I just buy koni or blistin for those springs. I wonder how much I can lower my 850r with those springs. 850r is lower than non r...no?

HtownTurboBrick
Well you can...but you must imagine 10 year old shocks are probably getting ready to be on their way out anyways
FAST850R
Thanks for the replies. Yeah, that's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. Is 850r stance lower than regular 850? If it's lower, can ipd, eibach, and h&r lower 850r?
caanglin
Yes, they are not much lower at all than a T5 or NA. Mine on IPD spings and Bilstein HD's.
SomeGuy
Yes, they are not much lower at all than a T5 or NA. Mine on IPD spings and Bilstein HD's. they're a lot lower than any of the models.... the only reason you might not have noticed much of a change is because your stock springs were probably shot to hell edit: unless of course you were just responding to his questions about the stock r's being lower

How is it for every day driving? I wonder it will sit find with 4 other passengers. Anything you want to say?
caanglin
edit: unless of course you were just responding to his questions about the stock r's being lower I was talking about R (stock) vs T5 (stock). I love it. How is it for every day driving? I wonder it will sit find with 4 other passengers. Anything you want to say? The HD's ride on the hard side. If you are on smooth road they feel perfect but, can be hard on a rough road. It doesn't bother me though coming from a slammed Integra. With passengers I can't really say because I rarely have people in the back seats.

FAST850R
Thank you for the replies. I used to have lowered cars so I know how it feels, and one of my favorite setting was koni yellow with eibach springs. They make perfect stance, and ride quality of my car as DD. Since you guys are saying IPD is on hard side, I guess I will go with eibach or h&r. I don't think I will track my car so no hard ride for it.
