harleyhv
My car has now over 190,000 kms and the alternator has never been changed... So I'm entertaining having to change it in a somewhat near future.... I would like to upgrade it to a High Output alternator while I have to replace it... I came across this High Output Alternator in my search: Fitzall High Output Alternator - Fitzall-220 http://powerbastards...rod=Fitzall-220 Would it work in my 2001 V70? If not, any other options for a "high output alternator"?
DARKSIDE
http://www.mean-green.com/products/alternator.html if they don't have any that'll work, send yours in and they'll rebuild it...

Owned
Do no use the wheel mean-green puts on their volvo 220. It is too small and the belt will slip. My first MG alt died due to this. Have them use stock size when they make it or put your old wheel on. It won't spin as fast and thusly won't work to their spec but at least it will last.
