AverageVolvo
The computers where I work are locked down, so downloading FF or anything for that matter isn't an option. Can't use FF on a thumbdrive either. So, I sit at a computer at work and take care of pm's and posting on my phone. At home I use IE a few times a year at the most. Personally, I hate IE myself, but unfortunately a lot of us are stuck using it. Matty Moo
Get thunderbird Portable apps browser and other self contained files When I said locked down, I should have said really locked down. They track every little move we make. We aren't allowed to possess flash drives, so plug one in and you're looking at time off. Try to put something on the computer, you're nabbed instantly and probably more time off just for trying.
RobT5M
working for a gov company, we have firefox already installed on all the comps. very few people use IE, and thats just due to the intranet part of it. I use, firefox and google chrome. FF for vs and facebook, and chrome for work. haah.

Guest John Perry
I've cringed each time I come across a VS link, knowing that my IE browser will lock up or take 2-3 minutes to come back to life and then the pages are 90% blank lines, what a ridiculous un-user friendly situation. My passion is getting my 850 wannRbe to go faster/better and not ***king around with various browsers. Please put a note on the bannerhead to the effect "Use FFox or Chrome (or whatever) other than IE for best performance". This would have mitigated much of my anxiety about ever clicking on a VS link long ago....

MSIE is fine as long as its not an ancient version.
