Best Way To Feed Wire In Front Door

I am re-installing two front speakers in the doors of my '94 850, and my gasket is completely filled with tons of wires, there is not any room to feed this wire through! Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can feed the wire from my door panel to the interior. I heard that it can be loosened, but will that make it any easier? I was wondering if it could be removed or cut all the way up. thanks for help.

sweet, home court advantage! my name's Brian I have been working on this install for some time, I had originally put in 2 front doors and a sub in the trunk when my ground came out...needless to say a few vibrations later, my speakers made a scarry sound and, BAM! no sound. My front left speaker had no grill on it and smoke started to come out of the tweeter! I freakin panicked, turned the stereo off, and cussed. Luckily everything was refunded. Now I am doing it again with a better crimper this time.

brrf, dude, im in cookeville, I will help you do this if you want.

its a multistep process.

1. you have to remove that little torx screw.

2. then twist off the big nut that goes up against the car body (not the door). This will allow you to disconnect the connector.

3 Then you'll need to go on the inside of the car, up under the dash and there is a collar nut, that has to be turned in order to get the car side connector to come out towards the inside. DONT LOSE THE GROMMET.

4. Then you need a dremel and a steady hand to clean out two holes and make one big one.

After you do that its a matter of threading the whole thing back together. Im tellin you, it takes about 20-40 minutes per side if you know what you're doing. Not a big deal.

Are you wanting to run NEW wire? Lemme suggest this stuff...... http://www.cardomain.com/item/STRSC14
