Here's a shot of carnage from my CC/Radio wood trim install, yes, all that for a stupid piece of wood trim. :lol:

It's honestly a lot worse than it looks. If you are good with hand tools and have patience this job is easily within your grasp.

Mind you the shot in this picture needs taken just a little further to access the evaporator but just to give you an idea.......

Also, thanks for the vacuum lines in 2008. They are holding up wonderfully. Best of luck and let us know if you have any questions. :)

Not a problem as far as abillity. Time is another issue. Hope it is not the evaporator then.

Glad to hear.

I was able to look at the evap by removing the glove box and the fan behind it. You can see a little bit of it through the hole.

My wifes car has a leak in the A/C. We can smell the freon in the cabin when a/c is on so I am assuming the leak is in the coils by the fan. Where is this and how hard will this be to fix?

Maple Syrup Smell or Metal smell ?
