Jaxx
Just wanted to share this, not a whole lot of info for those looking for it as I've found out. I'm in the process of fitting 8" subwoofers in the rear deck, so I want to document the process. Here's a video of the stock 8" mid/bass driver from the rear deck. It was blown using a 52x4 head unit. http://share.ovi.com/flash/player.aspx?media=jaxx75.10085&albumname=jaxx75.PublicMedia enjoy.
Keep Calm Chive On
you the one on the fezbook with the CompVR free air? IDK much bout sound systems but i wonder if that would blow out a rear window if you GANGSTAAAA haha. either way i think it would be cool to have a stock location. Ive always liked 8" subs (even though im not a sub guy) because they are crisp and powerful enough to get great quality without some 15" bluelight special rattling the rust off that keeps a honda together. Im extremely interested in how its gunna turn out. Im not thumpin base but i do like to rock out so the whole package has to come together. The stock system hits plenty of base for me (techno) haha mine arent blown but i pulled a set of Polk DB651 outa my newly exploded jeep. The rear deck is fine but i want to find something decent in a 8" to replace them. i cant find any 8 ohm and i dont really wanna go with anything other than the stock standards. if i knew about electronics id be all over it. keep me posted batman

I don't like a whole lot of bass but a single 10 in my wagon spoiled me because it rounded out the low end so well. On the stock head unit at that... I hope that two free air 8s in the sedan cabin will do something similar and not overwhelm anything. If it can't deliver though, i might be designing a box pretty soon here for sedan integration.
