Simply put, Transmission is leaking.

Now to consider manual swap, junkyard auto swap, or pricey repair.

To add to this, Tranny makes sounds when shifting, and its shifting harder and harder.

Alright so this is depressing, Just recorded a video of a huge exhaust leak on my car. I'm going to upload it so you can diagnose it also. Quite a funny video too.

Maybe i missed a previous post on this...

but something like Axle seals being toast can = leaking tranny fluid

and of course as the fluid goes down its going to shift worse and worse...

Not that im anti manual swap, but if your strapped for cash, might be worth the cheap investigation....

Be like me and use leaking oil as an excuse to do a manual swap and ya know while it's out you might as well buy an OBX system to put in there, then you should get an angled exhaust housing, and to compliment that get a Japanifold/R-mani, and to go with those you should get a bigger turbo while everythings out, but to control that get a new tune with injectors and an NA intake and to handle all that you should buy some silicone hoses (air and coolant) and since you have the engine out you should change all the engine mounts out too. It's the logical thing to do.

Whew that was quite a list. But seriously, that's what my last few months has been: collecting those parts

Well we inspected the car this morning, and it turns out the PCV is crapped, Plugged 100% basically.

In other news, the passenger side calipers have been painted.

Edit- Manual swap ins't out of the question, but I'm going to inspect the tranny more tonight to see if its bad at all.

Exhaust is fine I guess, I don't know what we were smelling yesterday but its not there anymore. And be sure to look in the showroom tonight for my updated pics, that I haven't taken yet.

PCV clogged up will help you smoke most def.

Clean the ports in the block real well, like 2 cans of brake cleaner well. Ours were coked up bad.

Get a drill bit about the size of the holes and spin it by hand in the holes to empty the big crap out, then spray it down with brakleen
