flyboy Posted July 20, 2010 Report Share Posted July 20, 2010 I am looking to replace the CV axels on my 01 V70. I read through the instructions on Bay 13. I noticed that the ball joint is differnt on the V70 than the subject car. The subject car used a pinch-bolt to hold the ball joint in, while my V70 has a two nuts on the bottom of the ball joint to hold it in. Other than the method of loosing the ball joint, is the Bay 13 procedure still applicable to a V70. Are there any special considerations in removing a two-nut ball joint?
