IMO, all LEDs are hit or miss. I've had LEDs from superbrightleds.com and 42draftdesigns.com have problems in less than a year too.

I've almost given up with LED's. They either start to blink, go out for no reason or even start to have weird corrosion (maybe this is just a canadian problem?). I had almost every bulb in my car converted to LED's. Now I'm slowly going back to normal bulbs after noticing blinking, burning out or said corrosion.

Some of the high output drop-in LEDs are poor quality because they don't have any kind of cooling; that or they are just poor quality LEDs. My license plate lights have been fantastic, but my 5-LED amber drop-ins for the gauges blink (two out of four). All the LEDs in my switches, custom setup in the shifter, map light buttons, etc have been in perfect shape for over 5 years.

I suggest getting more than you need, so if one or two start blinking, you can replace them.

Looks great, but what is your secret to having the dash off, getting the lights out and new ones in, and your dash reinstalled in 45 mins

I can remove the top of my dash (fully out of the car), take out the gauge cluster, change the bulbs and replace everything in about 30 minutes.

Guest Serge

So the drop-ins in my gauge cluster started to blink quite a bit after a day of having them. I bought an alternate brand and have been running them for 36 hours straight on a bench power supply. So far they are running great and will hopefully last. The same white ones I have in my license plates have been running for a year without any issues. Seems like it's just a matter of trying a few to see if they work.
