If the car is going to be sold to some one in the United States and it is from Canada, It will need to be imported to the United States.

this website should help if someone in the United States wants this rare car.

http://www.nhtsa.gov/cars/rules/import/

this is guidelines for requirements

Hi there,

I am a long time Turbobricks member who has been looking for a 850/s70/V70 Type DD for a while, as my '82 242 is starting to wear on me as a DD, and I want the comfort/convenience of a more modern car. a T5M AWD was too awesome to ignore, this car made me decide I need to register so I could comment/possibly continue with this. I am located near Ottawa ontario. My first question is this; Perhaps this was just to be assumed, but there was no mention in the original post of the car having passed a safety inspection. You mentioned E-test, but not safety. Does the car come safetied?

Thanks,

Jay

Car does not come safetied

it is etested

it needs the ebrake adjusted which you can do yourself but im lazy. Also the end links need replacing but again im lazy, the parts are sitting in my trunk

I can get all that done for you though prior to delivery of vehicle if you like or you can do it yourself.

Im located in Niagara Falls now

Lack of Safety certificate makes me wary. Nothing against you yourself, but I've purchased cars before that supposedly only needed certain things and ended up with a big list to pass a safety. This seems like big money for something I'd have to go through the hassle to safety myself. Any chance of you getting it safetied before selling?
