bengallegos Posted August 12, 2010 Report Share Posted August 12, 2010 so a couple months ago i got back from a long trip with my 99 v70r and when i got back i noticed a pretty loud clanking noise coming from below the car. it wouldn't do it a idle or upon stronger acceleration but it does it when i'm coasting, maintaining speed or breaking. it kinda sounds like it could be coming from the driveline or diff but i could be wrong. a few days later it went away. yesterday, i made another long drive in it and the noise came back on the way home. anyone know what it could be?
