f1fanoly Posted August 12, 2010 Report Share Posted August 12, 2010 Not sure if this is the right place to post this,but was wondering if theres any difference in cams between the 2.4LPT motor and the 2.3HPT?Specifically,do the lpt cams have more lift?My haynes manual doesnt give specs for the 2.4lpt.The car is a '97glt(2.4lpt) and i'm installing '98T5(2.3hpt).If I could gain flow by swapping cams from the old motor,I'd certainly do so. If you want to swap cams get a set of NA cams...they can be had cheap...'93 is best but all others are good improvement (read less suck) over turbo cams which are all the same for the 97/98 iirc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
