CJones16
Jack up the price of the core with a two week window to return Or I find having a pre-printed shipping label that comes with my cores - makes me return them faster (Customer pays for it, Eeuroparts is $10 return label) Or Rebuilds only, with a discount if the person returns there old module in re-usable condition after the fact (within a time window)
Black Betty
Rebuilds only, with a discount if the person returns there old module in re-usable condition after the fact (within a time window) I imagine the problem is having enough stock on hand to repair them. He's doing many models/years/ with tracs as an option. So this doesn't help him. It sucks but you might have to go to just doing rebuilds.
Pops Racer
CAll these MFERS out! I'm gettin tired of seeing bad transaction posts here, these flakes are killing a good thing. Post a deadbeat thread, and we will build a data base of seller/buyers to avoid. Or to deal with, this is BS. I cant stand a good dealer getting screwed over, its hard enough keeping our shit straight. SO turbos from Spanky...
Fudge_Brownie
Jack up the price of the core with a two week window to return THIS. Make cores worth your time. $500 core with expiration date means people will be in a hurry to return or you get paid. As much as I REALLY want him to uncover the deadbeats, he probably might, and not unreasonably so, consider it a bad move for buisness. However, you might gain some customers from your no nonsense attitude ;)

Stormtrooper1
Yeah... I have to say I'm hoping for the option to get an exchange. I'm sitting on knowing that the Mother In Law's S70 needs it, but I'm not 100% sure if she's got a tracs module or not, and She Hasn't been visiting enough this summer to order one (Because i don't want to be sitting on the core too long)

Matty Moo
I'd rather not sell than do core charges. Go to high on the core, and nobody will bite. Plus I hate juggling the money and having to nag people over pm's, that's less time with my family. I typically spend more time nagging people than actually fixing them. Of the 37 I sold last month, 24 were on eBay and almost all of those have come back in under 3 weeks. 4 of the 8 I did here have been gone over a month. That's the norm for VS. A lot of eBay and MVS people return them before I even expect them back. Sometimes just a week. No nagging, no emails or pm's. VS people have no problem paying, it's following through with the terms that they agreed to when the sale was made, which is put it on when you get it and no sending back trash. A lot of it has to do with the demographics of VS. I don't hate VS, most of the time at least. VolvoDoC is offender #1 right now. I've emailed him, his girlfriend who the paypal came from, and pm'd him. He's past 6 weeks, no response at all. DHV70. Don't even get me started on that fucking pile of shit. And his buddy TyConn was here to rub it in my face. Those are two fucked up kids. Hanks? On here all the time, won't read my pm's. No idea what's up with him. I told him no hurry since it was a warranty return, but that didn't mean 4 months. Morgan Bardall. 6 weeks. Finally responded to pm's today, but I can't help it that his car is fucked up. Matt, I have heard only good things concerning your rebuilds. If I have a need, you are who I am going to for an ABS unit. sorry you are having problems. if you had to break it down by age would you find that many of the offenders are fairly young? (you mentioned the youth of two guys) Eric
Matty Moo
if you had to break it down by age would you find that many of the offenders are fairly young? (you mentioned the youth of two guys) 18-24. That's where the issues almost always are. Mostly the East coast and down south. I've never had an issue with anybody in the Midwest. I keep track of every transaction. Who, where, date out, date in, etc. Out of 37 modules I have, 25-30 are out at any given time, once one is out too long, I start nagging them about it.
