Fudge_Brownie
18-24. That's where the issues almost always are. Mostly the East coast and down south. I've never had an issue with anybody in the Midwest. I've said it like 100 times and I'll say it again. I'm ashamed to be associated with "my" generation. So many people around our age are so messed up, it'll be amazing to watch what happens as they try to raise kids. I'm actually kinda worried. I count my lucky stars every day that I managed to find a female worth courting
Serge
THIS. Make cores worth your time. $500 core with expiration date means people will be in a hurry to return or you get paid. As much as I REALLY want him to uncover the deadbeats, he probably might, and not unreasonably so, consider it a bad move for buisness. However, you might gain some customers from your no nonsense attitude Also dittoing this one. Jacking up the price for a core charge will make people move. greasy
Its really surprising me that this is such a big issue on VS. It seems like a fairly tight-knit group where people shouldn't be ripping each other off! I don't generally buy much from forums, but it would be nice to know that I could if I needed to. I foresee it becoming difficult if this sh!t keeps happening.
TyConn
I've said it like 100 times and I'll say it again. I'm ashamed to be associated with "my" generation. Some of us are ashamed to be associated with you Alden. Matt, I'm sorry some of this shit happened. I never said what Derrick did was right, and I hounded him until shipped his module back to you. It fucking pissed me off that he did something like that so quickly after having tried to make a comeback on the forum. I was not trying to rub it in your face, i was merely not that happy over the way some of the people handled the situation. Including Derrick. I really appreciate the quality work you do for this community at such a low price, what you do is awesome. And I hate that it ends up like this. Sorry Man
TRACStar
I've said it like 100 times and I'll say it again. I'm ashamed to be associated with "my" generation. +1 Apparently morals and common courtesy are becoming rare traits nowadays, sad to say but O so true. Makes me feel like I try to hard, if I'm leaving a store and there is someone within 3-8 seconds behind me I'll wait a bit to hold the door. Or the best is when you open a door for someone in a store with 2 separate doors only to have them let the second close in your face. Our generation has a large percentage of douches but I think its more of a cutoff date, because all of the younger kids are assholes for the most part. And if any younger VSer's take offense to that statement your probably one of the douches, the ones that aren't would agree with me.

I always hold doors and say thanks when a door is held for me. It's amazing how often someone will let a door close in your face/not hold it for you. When people don't hold a door for me when any average person would have, or when people don't thank me for waiting an extra 5 seconds to hold a door for them, I make it a point to loudly and clearly say "thank you" or "you're welcome." It might not phase them but it makes me feel better
7 VII 7
haha, I do that also Adam. Today when I was walking through some glass double doors that opened away from me... there was this fat trashy woman on the other side coming towards me and she opened the door to the left of her (my door to go through) and she just walked right through and kind of cut me off... I said something to her but not sure if she could hear with the fat and grease in her ears.

ozzimark
 Dave. My favorite is when you're in some traffic, and you let someone in, and the person behind you gets mad at you. That always makes my day <_<

I foresee it becoming difficult if this sh!t keeps happening. It's changed a lot in the past few years. Not too long ago, I would send out spare ECU's to people on the boards (Ben, Paul and a few others benefited from that), no questions asked, send it back when you're done. There is no way in hell I would do it now. I was burned on 2 deals in the past 6 months, one for close to $350 (I managed to recoup some of the money). I tried to sell wheels on here that everyone seemed to be asking for, I had bought 5 sets, I'm staring at 3 after 'serious' buyers backed out at the last minute. Common courtesy and ethics are pretty much gone from VS now. It's a shame, this site is probably the best Volvo related site out there, hands down.
