Hellas850 T-5
Hello guys,It might be a very common problem, sorry for this For about a month now,the car makes very strange things,at the beginning the problem was appeared only at idle, while I was driving and had to stop to a traffic light let's say,the idle was staying at 1000 rpm,and after a while it was reving until 1400 rpm,and staying there for a while, now a week ago it does the same but also if I will leave to idle for about 5 minutes the revs drop to a level that you think that the engine will shut off and then comes back to normal level. And under boost sometimes it makes like cut off-misfire, I have checked and changed all the vacuum hoses with silicone hoses,I also changed the MAF sensor, and the idle valve, the other hoses are all of them SAMCO.spark plugs have 10000 km on them, fuel filter the same. Any thoughts? It will make me crazy.

custom R
I understand your frustration first hand. Other possibilities would be: PCV system, weak fuel pump, crank & or TPS. I hope this info helps, and lots of luck.

Hellas850 T-5
Ηello guys,I changed the RPM sensor,I had one from an engine that was ok-I think-and for one day was ok,today the same symptons again, and I noticed some other things, when the A/C is on the symptons are harder. And I noticed a difference in the performance, the car seems to be a to have like turbo lag.Recently I changed the turbo from 15G to brand new 19T,at the begining it was fun to drive. custom R
Are you getting any codes?? Was the timing belt changed recently? If so, check to see if your timing is accurate. If you find out if / what codes the care is throwing, that should point you in the right direction.

98 s70 t5m
Make sure your plug wires are far away from your RPM sensor leads. I had an occasional misfire after I changed plug wires and it was because my plug wire were too close to the sensor.
