FAST850R
Hello, When I bought my car, it didn't come with a jack so today I bought it for $10. Can anyone show me a picture how this jack fit into trunk? I believe it should fit into the spare tire. By the way, mine is 850r so it has a full alloy wheel. Thank you. (BillyRocka) 10-03-2003 12:00 AM #3 u have to fold it all the way down...push the pivoting handle into the metal bracket in the middle of the jack. then the straps for the tire can be used to strap down the jack as well...the tire has to be upside down (face side down). as for the stuff under the plywood...not sure, but probably for the 3rd row seat... AlvinL
Like this. There's a clip that locks the jack to the spare and a loop in the screw down nut for the strap to go through. The jack also holds down the Volvo tools pouch.
FAST850R
Thank you for the link, and the picture. I kind of got an idea how to fit it :)
Matty Moo
The very best way to get it to fit would to throw it in the trash, along with the flimsy lug wrench they provide. Compared with how overengineered some things are on the car, they really skimped on those two. IF I get a flat, I'm going to girl-up and call AAA. There's no way I'm using that jack. FAST850R
Hahaha, yeah I was like WTF when I saw the oem jack. It looked way different from other manufacure's jack. The reason I bought it was I am going for camping early September. I thought I should have it since I am going to drive 5 hours one way.... Keaton85
Ive had to use a breaker bar and a jack handle with myself and my boss (big guy) with everything we had to get each bolt off of one of my cars. Some tire shops really get these things tight! I would call AAA if I didnt install the wheels.

Agreed the only place that jack belongs is the trash .
