Ghost Shadow Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 i did the 11236 in the btcc car. took out the OEM muffler and welded this one in its place. mine did not have so many bends like yours. kept the oem straight pipe that came out of the rear. it goes from turbo to BSR D/P to cat, to #11236 to the oem pipes. car was throaty yet NO drone for a automatic. boxpin Posted September 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 Holy Crap its loud now!! I swapped to a Magnaflow and got rid of the tubes so it is straight pipe...Drone heaven. Videos??? i have a Borla XR-1 on my car.. full 3" turboback with only the one muffler, by far the best sounding of the exhausts..gives it a deep throaty noise. boxpin Posted September 4, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 I'm actually really happy with OBX's stock muffler, if you can try to find something like it. They have a resonator in there as well though. My daughter was sitting by me when I was scrolling through this thread, all of a sudden she goes, "Wait, scroll up, scroll up..." I got to your car (Fake-R) and she said, " Thats a sweet car." Just thought you might like to hear that. Finally, peace and quiet....Dynomax at the tip.
