Well I gotta tear the panel off anyway so I guess i'll snoop around and see if anything stands out of place. If all looks well then i'll probably go with one like this, http://www.crutchfield.com/S-JBDijTtnCFr/p_12044UA60/FM-Signal-Amplifier.html . I'm almost positive the wagons have a small antenna signal booster in the back. I think there was a thread to this effect on SS a while back, and I tried searching, but the thread was lost when they went to the new format. the commissar! Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 Does your 850 have the rear antennas built into the two side glass panels at the cargo area like my V70? If so check that they are plugged in...Cables are under the floor panels and run iirc back the passenger side and fork across to the other side. I was not a fan of the volvo tuners, i replaced my hu with a pioneer on stock antenna and the reception is awesome. Do you have HD radio coverage in your area? Invest.
