boxpin
I bought an OEM ECU. I pulled my IPD Stage1 out and slipped in the OEM. Just for fun I thought I would take it out and see what fuel cut off felt like again. To my shock, not difference. I built boost to 18psi(mbc)and the car just roared like there was no change. Whats the deal?
Ipd
Not all stockers have fuel cut...
s_moneh
do this stop, then just WOT ( almost 100% guranteed ur not getting fuel cut) roll 40km/h( idunno miles), then WOT (u'll most likely hit it, i do it all the time )) however i find out i get less fuel cut in sport mode then eco mode meaning with the tests above i get fuel cut all the time in eco except from the stop i have yet to have gotten fuel cut in sport mode tho from both a roll and stop
boxpin
Ok, its getting stranger...I cannot hit fuel cut off, even doing the test above. Also, I dont have a Cat, with the IPD I threw a CEL, with this ECU I am not. Next I am going to hook the OEM TCV back up and see if the boost is above the factory 9.6. I am beginning to wonder if I bought a flashed ECU.
TRACStar
Sometimes fuel cut can be tricky to cause. Like s_moneh already said, my factory ECU would never hit fuel cut going WOT from a standing start. It normally would only kick in once I was rolling, more at highway speeds than city. I think its one of them scenarios where when you want it to happen it won't but the worst possible time it could happen....guess what. Kind of like cops Give it some time with the CEL, I have no cat and sometimes after I reset it my CEL will stay off for weeks or months. When I had a straight flange it actually only came up twice in 14 months. Since I swapped to angled it comes on much more frequently.

boxpin
Ok, I beat the heck out of it tonight and finally hit fuel cut off on the freeway going 70. I feel better now. I put the IPD back in
