Hey, I'm a new guy here. I live in Southwest Ranches (small city within Davie), Florida. Basically Fort Lauderdale, 1 street east of I75.

I've got a 1998 S70 T5 5-Speed Manual:

-18 inch Alba Chase 305s wrapped in 245/40/18 Hankook Ventus

-Greddy Type-S BOV

Hopefully within the next week I'll be ordering/installing:

-Bilstein HD Shocks & Struts

-Eibach Sport Line Springs

-Greddy Iridium Tune Spark Plugs

-RC Engineering 550cc Injectors

-TurboXS or HKS MBC (Manual Boost Controller)

I've got some slight body damage (deep scratches) from a hit & run in parking lot. Once body shop clears up that will be taken care of and I'll be having the side panels and doorhandles shaved.

I just got around to looking for Volvo forums and I've got a lot of questions. It seems that many of you are from South Florida, so are there any meets coming up soon? It's nice having the most unique car at shows, but I'd like to see some peers. And, I've got plenty of questions concerning work you guys have done and where I can get specific parts. Thanks.

550cc injectors? For what?

Eh? To replace the what 310cc I have? Too restricted now.

How many lbs of boost am I running? I've read 10.47, but that sounds way too high, and my shop measured it at about 3-4 but that was at neutral and boost can't really be measured unless the car is going. ;)

Also, what's a good size for a large front-mount intercooler and what company would you recommend. I was leaning towards more Greddy.

Has anyone heard or put on a Greddy EVO2 exhaust system?

MOST IMPORTANTLY: Are there any meets coming up where any of you will be??? I'll drive anywhere that I can get to and back within a day. West Palm to Greater Miami preferably :D.

stock you're boosting 10-11 PSI. I just had a meet set up for today in Boca Raton, FL, a few of us chill down here, next week if you feel like meeting up some time we can. Jeo lives down in Miami, Eric lives over in Davie and goes to school in Orlando (UCF), Ben and I live up in Boca... so there's a bunch of us around Florida. Then farther up North you have Jesse and Adam, also Eric Gronberg... then way up there some other guys. But yea, there's a bunch of us.

OK, your stock injectors are fine for 16-17 PSI. As opposed to adding more fuel via RC's, I personally recommend you get a chip tune if you do not already have one, as it seems you do not. The stock chip has a boost cutout feature that no matter how much fuel you have it will still cutout, so a MBC will not allow you to adjust as much as you may think. I'm actually gonna be up there later tonight, I'll give you a call maybe. But next week would be perfect so. I was looking at the ECU swap, rather expensive but I can put the cash together soon likely. I assume you have it? If you could link me to the equivalent for my car, that'd be sweet. Thanks.
