turbor850
http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showtopic=1261I personally like iPD or BSR, both are very good
swdracr
The only thing with the JT system is it's not stainless, so it will rust eventually. But it's definitely a good deal price wise. You can't beat ~$700 for downpipe and catback. If you want a catback, I'd say go BSR.. the BSR, SAM, and Ipd exhausts are essentially the same thing, but BSR is cheapest. It's 2.5" (not 3" like the JT system), but it's stainless steel.
NaturalMystic79
BSR all the way!
volflo
didnt like bsr too much.liked the supersprint (with one muffler) better, esp. performance was significantly better. But the sound was almost like "overblowing", as if there was too much air for a too small diameter.when we talk quality, i would say ferrita is best. esp. their down pipe s look like granny `s silver spoons (when it comes to finish)the 3" ferrita group A from turbo i now have is awesome. i do have a vid of car running at idle. its inside the garage and u grasp how full the sound is. also a almost whistling sound as if i was running a sharp camshaft. so if anybody is interested.... Svenson, The Terrible
I paid $750 for a 2.5 inch custom stainless steel down pipe, cat back and a ceramic coated magnaflow, that was incluiding taxes and labor. Moral of the story? Go custom, if you live in a large metro area, there has to be an exhaust guru.My system will probably outlive my car.My .2 worth, good luck! I have BSR and I like it, although coupled with my down pipe there is a mild amount of drone (dynomatt under the rear seats will help this, it dosn't requie much so the weight addition should not be too great).Between IPD and BSR I would choose BSR, it's virtually, if not exactly the same and it is cheaper to buy. The BSR system comes with crumby clamps, not sure if the IPD one does or not. However, new clamps are cheap from Summit ;)
whatme
The only thing with the JT system is it's not stainless, so it will rust eventually. But it's definitely a good deal price wise. You can't beat ~$700 for downpipe and catback.other than the fact that its not stainless steel its still a good exhaust right? The only thing that alot of people complained about is they thought that it was to quiet.
JDELUNA
The mufflers in these aftermarket systems from IPD, BSR, JT, etc. what kind of muffler do they use ?? Is it a straight thru with absorbtion controlling the sound or do they use chambered mufflers ????
NaturalMystic79
I have a BSR exhaust and it's a straight thru design.

850 GLT
purdy! I think the JT system can be ordered with just one muffler. That's what I'm going to get this summer when I have some money. But the BSR and IPD exhausts are very quiet so that's something to consider as well.
