Tyler T5R
In January 2009 I bought a '91 740 Turbo Wagon - my first Volvo, and the first car I ever paid cash for. It's been a good car, albeit pretty rough cosmetically. Last winter we decided we needed an additional car, so defying all logic and reason I looked for another Volvo. I really wanted an R wagon, but when I found this T-5R sedan 25 miles from home I couldn't resist. I finally waxed it today so I figured I'd introduce it. 1995 Volvo 850 T-5R Purchased in VA with 134,455 miles Done so far: Stage 0 PCV Timing belt, tensioner, idlers Front motor mount Replaced tons of vacuum lines and elbows Replaced old cracked wire looms Control arm, tie rods IPD HD end-links BG trans flush Front brake hoses, brake bleed and fill with ATE Super Blue Replaced power window switches in center console. Rebuilt driver’s heated seat switch (replaced lamp) Walk me home light relay 99 adjustable wiper relay New windshield Cabin filter kit Left CV halfshaft Headlight switch Fuel filter Spark plugs (Volvo) AV: Eclipse double-din navigation (BT, iPod, DVD, etc) JBL components in front (meh) Boston G5 12" sub (sweet) Eclipse 500 watt sub amp Massive amp wiring for future expansion... Not working: Cruise control, power seat backs, odometer (ya, it's an 850) Also, I still wanted a nicer wagon so I just bought a V70R a month ago for my wife... Tyler T5R
Thanks. I paid about $3200, knowing it had accident history (not in Autocheck but it was obvious during inspection) but nicely repaired and repainted. The interior is very clean, too. And unlike my others Volvos, it has great AC. I get the feeling a previous owner really liked this car ( as do I ).

Tyler T5R
Don't know why I said JBL speakers. They are Polk db series components. And they are meh. I got spoiled by Dynaudio components in a previous car, and even the 740 wagon has MB Quart comps.
cheapwagon
We are down in Brandy Station a lot since we have family there. Did you hit up the 4th of July car show? I am just wondering if anyone else noticed that perfect E30 M3 that was on display.
