'01 S60 T5 Clutch Replacement Something Wrong With Shifter

yoked

Recommended Posts

Replaced the clutch and had gearbox apart to replace seals and slave. I slapped the gearbox & bell housing back together & reinstalled back on to the engine, reconnected everything back together (wires, mounts etc...). Bled the clutch (forever) and when I finally fired it up the shifter didnt feel right. I tried to put in gear, every gear and the gears did not engage. There's no grinding, no movement of the car , no reverse lights nothing. Someone said my cables were backwards. This is not the case.

What did I do wrong? PLEASE advise.

Thanks...

Back bleed the clutch hydraulics. Get a metal trigger oil can, fill it with brake fluid, slide some vacuum hose on the tip of the can then onto the bleeder screw, crack the slave bleeder screw and pump brake fluid into it, watch the air push into the master as it fills up.
