mulcy
My volvo's a daily driver and I take it up in the mountains a lot during the winter necessitating as much ground clearance as possible and room for chains between the tires and the wheel wells. That said, even with bilstein HDs, I'd really like to stiffen things up and get it to ride more like my gf's sport suspension 330Ci. Any suggestions for a stiffer spring that wouldn't lower the car? IPD used to sell the overload springs for the 850..they rose height i believe lol... Not sure on the ride of them though, but i imagine that's in the area you want. socal850tuner
From what I've seen there isn't a "off-the-shelf" spring that has that combo. However, I do know that eibach will make custom springs, though they do get pricey.
jadnhm
You could always try something like the airlift 1000 http://www.truckspring.com/suspension-parts/helper-springs/air-spring-kits/air-lift-1000.aspx or one of the bump-stop replacements from timbren: http://timbren.com/aeon-rubber-springs.htm Both of these products are supposed to improve carrying capacity but would stiffen things up as well... I've never tried either of these products. Just throwing out ideas....
