duett Posted December 20, 2004 Report Share Posted December 20, 2004 I'm upgrading the stereo in my S70 to an SC90x hu. I don't have the amp or harness yet, but i'm looking around for ones that will fit. I know they either go in the dash, under the seat, or in the trunk (for C70s), so my question is: if i get one from a C70, is it possible to fit it in the trunk near the antenna motor so that it would be hidden? DOn't know if anyone has done this. I'd prefer one that goes under the seat or in the dash for easier installation, but i'm curious about the trunk mounted ones. I'm actually looking to do something completely hidden; which is why I was thinking to do it on the inside of the driver's side panel by the antenna motor. Just don't know if there's enough room. Depending on how big of an amplifier you use, you can hide it somewhere, but remember, you'll need a way for the amp to give off the heat it creates and putting it in a semi-sealed environement isn't good.let's see that location and sig newbie! :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
